Every year, colleges around the world step up to attract the best and brightest students. Success is the key factor in this research because colleges and universities survive on the revenue generated by students who not only choose their institution, but also stay at their institution and complete their chosen course of study . Additionally, colleges receive rankings based on their students' degrees and achievement, which only improves their financial success. The following is a proactive public relations strategy designed to generate more applications from high-achieving students, which will increase admissions from high-achieving students. Student recruitment can only be achieved by attracting the attention of students, informing them about university offerings and improving the ease of applying to university. Effective recruitment plans require visibility to students by creating an environment that cultivates dialogue and information exchange. Before the campaign launches, a college must create a dynamic and eye-catching website. In this website, video testimonials from past and current students should be included. Additionally, financial aid resources must be made available, including those offered by the college. A financial aid and college cost calculator would be a great resource to give students an idea of the costs of college. Since on average prospective students only visit between one and four campuses, a virtual campus tour will allow students and parents to experience the campus without ever leaving home (YouVisit, n.d.). A social media presence should be established to allow students to share their ideas and interact with faculty staff.
