  • Essay / Just Keep Smiling - 1506

A girl squealed as she fell to the dirt floor of the playground. Almost immediately, tears formed in the corners of his eyes, before flowing down his face like waterfalls. The boy in front of her stopped in his tracks, before turning around. Confused, he leaned down, watching the girl scream. “Why are you crying?” Sehun pressed his fingers on the girl's red knee while Yoonji examined them through his tears. “It’s just a little scratch.” “But it hurts!” Yoonji was crying, her little balled hands wiping away her tears. “It really, really, hurts!” Sehun glanced around. Yoonji was a crybaby, yes, but usually their parents are there to comfort the girl as soon as the first tear falls. And what was he supposed to do? The last time a situation like this happened, Sehun wiped away the bruise, and Yoonji cried harder. He narrowed his eyes at the scratch and couldn't help but think childishly about what a little baby the girl in front of him was. But one look at the utter despair on his face erased that thought with a feeling of guilt. She was chasing him before falling. Does that mean it was technically his fault? Full of guilt, his fingers covered in mud, Sehun gently pressed his two index fingers to the corner of Yoonji's mouth, before standing up, forming an awkward smile. Sehun was unmoved. “You look ugly crying.” Yoonji's mother raised her hand in greeting when she saw her daughter running across the street without checking both sides for oncoming cars. However, the teenager paid no attention to her mother who was working in the yard, opening the screen door, before rushing inside the house. Yoonji's mother blinked. One, two, three times, before smiling. "Is this the so-called rebellious age?" spoil the boy who suddenly became adorable with an innocent smile. “So Yoonji-ssi, what are you..” Here Chanyeol paused, lowering his voice and pulling Yoonji closer, further away from Sehun who seemed uninterested in the exchange “..relationship. to Sehun here?” And uh... I think I'll end here. Yoonji's mother will always be called Yoonji's mother. And I'm sorry for the poor quality of this chapter. It didn't go as I said. I planned for it to come out, and I wrote this around midnight, which should be bedtime for little girls like me. And no, Yoonji didn't trip while trying to hide. so I had to clarify here.I'm sorry.Really sorry.Mm..Thanks for subscribing and commenting.Yeah...yeah..
