This is supposed to give us the picture of each person in a marriage supporting each other with their own weight and if they do that, they can't fail. That two people who support each other cannot fail because they support and support each other. An arc describes a marriage because for a marriage to work, both people must support and rely on each other to have a strong and healthy relationship.
