Alcohol has existed since the depths of history. Man has enjoyed his drunken allure since the age of our ancestors. However, they enjoyed it a little too much. Overconsumption of alcohol among men has caused them a lot of grief. Alcohol abuse impairs judgment and can even lead to the drinker's death. Especially in America. Overconsumption and abuse of alcohol has become a serious and dangerous problem in America, and it not only endangers the consumer, but also the people around and involved with them. Laws regarding alcohol consumption in America need to be better enforced by law enforcement due to the negative effects caused by illegal alcohol consumption. The population that should be most concerned about alcohol consumption is America's adolescent population. Teenagers can be very curious and impressionable. So it's natural if they want to try the feeling of alcohol for the first time. However, adolescents should not drink due to the negative health effects and psychological effects that could harm them in the long term. Adolescents are at great risk when they decide to drink unsupervised and engage in binge drinking. The effects can be dangerous, even fatal, not only for the drinker but also for their peers. Each year, approximately 5,000 young people under the age of 21 die as a result of underage drinking, including 1,900 deaths from car accidents, 1,600 from homicide, 300 from suicides and hundreds more due to other various injuries such as burns, falls, etc. ("Underage Drinking", 11) These mortality rates are quite alarming and should be given more attention, but teenagers still want to run middle of paper......
