Education is vitally important for everyone. The young students I will teach at the high school have their lives and careers ahead of them and it is the duty of teachers to help them reach their potential. Each student is a unique person and deserves respect. I will treat each student with respect and help them reach their potential. Having been a preschool teacher for many years and having taught reading to many children, I am really looking forward to being able to go to the classroom again. Although I may not be the best teacher, I felt that over all the years, including my time teaching German, I was able to make a difference in life of certain students, however small it may be. I believe everyone should be able to realize their potential and become a valued member of our society, and I hope I can help facilitate that potential..
