You wouldn't think it would be near you, but it is. Now I have to guess if the people are there willingly or if they are forced to carry out someone else's orders. I have the impression that people who sell flowers, roses, movies or bootleg CDs on the street are victims of human trafficking. It must be very hard for victims to find themselves in this kind of situation. I cannot fully imagine the thoughts and feelings they must have experienced when they were victims of human trafficking. I love how Ms. Gomez compared one of my childhood movies to human trafficking. When I was a kid, I thought the movie was very innocent and the ants took their lives back. Now that Ms. Gomez explained what was actually happening in the film, I realized that there was a darker theme to the film. The ants were the slaves of the grasshoppers.
