A person who grew up in a low-income household may not be able to afford post-secondary education, or may be advised against pursuing post-secondary studies due to future financial problems. burdens that would keep them in the lower class (Gray & Kish-Gephart, 2013). Many countries provide assistance to people who cannot afford post-secondary education. These people may not have the resources to seek this help or to attend school simply because they may not have access to a computer or the Internet. Finding and keeping a well-paying job would be much more difficult for someone without post-secondary education and would limit many of their employment options to minimum wage.
