Teachers are generally overlooked as important professions; many believe that teaching is not as demanding or as difficult as other high-paying professions. Without teachers, people would not be able to acquire knowledge and there would be no academic growth. Teachers are just as important as other professions and should get a pay raise for beginning teachers. Teachers are extremely essential to everyone's life, as a parent you want the best teacher for your child. This is not possible without a salary increase; most people interested in education often hesitate. Indeed, many fear that even if the job is perfect for them, the salary is not. As an adult, stability is a necessity and stability in this world means money. Without a good salary, people are not able to take care of their families, which is understandably a worrying situation for many people undertaking education. Teachers are there to help students progress academically, but cannot do so if they do not have the appropriate tools to use. Many teachers first sacrifice part of their meager salary to buy supplies for their students. Be careful, the budget allocated to supplies for teachers is often not that high. Teachers who put students before themselves and their own needs are just as important as other professions. A better paid teacher makes the most sense, as teachers have the means to support themselves; they will have “extra” money to spend on extracurricular activities at school. Teachers will have the opportunity to take lessons that will benefit the class. International students view America as a beacon of light, with endless opportunities and tools to help them succeed in life. Since 2007, registrations from China have increased by 186.5% while registrations from Saudi Arabia have increased by 332.9%. This proves that not only are the situations complicated for our students, but also for other countries. Teachers are extremely important and are the people who lead our future.
