Better known as LVMH, the company strives to be the best it can be in many countries around the world. This company sets the standards for what all businesses should strive for in terms of success, and their luxury products have risen to the top of their class in every category that LVMH is in. The company specializes in a number of different sectors, as it consists of 60 subsidiaries which each have their own brand ("The Beginnings"). They offer over 13 brands of wine and spirits, the most popular being Belvedere, Dom Pérignon and Hennessey. They also own more than 17 fashion and leather goods brands, including Dior, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton (“LVMH First Half”). LVMH also has 5 brands in the perfumes and cosmetics sector, as well as 7 brands in the watches and jewelry department. The best performers were Hubolt and Zenith (“LVMH First Half”). Furthermore, LVMH is also present in specialized distribution in three different categories: DFS is the leader in luxury travel distribution, Le Bon Marché is a famous Parisian department store and Sephora is a chain of cosmetics stores located throughout the France (“LVMH First Half”). LVMH has successfully created products in all industries associated with luxury: wine, fashion, perfumes, cosmetics, watches and jewelry.
