    Star-crossed lovers is a term often used in many stories. Being one of the main ones, Romeo and Juliet has inspired many authors and directors to use the term Star-Crossed Lovers to define the plot of their story. Another story that uses the term Star-Crossed Lovers is The Hunger Games. The Hunger Games and Romeo and Juliet have many similarities and differences, and the main points lie in the following areas: characters, setting, and plot. Character is an important area in which Romeo and Juliet and The Hunger Games have many similarities and differences. One big similarity is the love triangle between Katniss, Peeta and Gale. This is very similar to the love triangle between Romeo, Juliet and Rosaline. Romeo is in love with Rosaline at first, as is Katniss for Gale.
