  • Essay / Importance of Diversity - 1284

Diversity to me means many different cultures, people, religions, talents, races, appearances and moral values. Diversity is what makes people unique from others. There are more than 7 billion people in the world. Every person is different; they have something different from everyone else. In this world, you can find things that you never imagined existed. There are also crazy things people can do that you think aren't possible. All over the world there are exotic, unimaginable, frightening and intriguing things and people that we will soon encounter. To me, global diversity means the different countries on the continent. Like China, America, South Africa, Russia, Germany, Italy, Japan and many more. These countries have many different cultures. The cultural values of a community give it its own identity. Communities acquire a character and personality of their own, thanks to the culture of their inhabitants. Culture is shared by members of a community. It is learned and passed on from older generations to new ones. For effective transfer of culture from one generation to another, it must be translated into symbols. Language, art, and religion serve as symbolic means of transferring cultural values between generations. Culture is a bond that unites the inhabitants of a country or community. This is because there is a common bond that brings members of a community together. The customs and traditions that members of a community follow, the festivals and holidays, celebrate the type of clothes they wear, the food they eat, and most importantly, the cultural values they live by. This is what brings them all together. Geographic diversity is the different characteristics of land, bodies of water, massive deserts, climates and...... middle of paper ......g to try to break them down into forget who they are really inside. We wouldn't want that to happen because we would get used to the same old people. Diversity sparks life with new experiences and ideas. In conclusion, what diversity means to me are the things that are unique in the world, including different types of people, animals, geography, food, religion, cultures, arts and many more. other things. By having a diverse world, you learn from each other. We use techniques from others to improve our lives. For example, Asia wanted to westernize their country so that their country would become modern. The leaders emulated the way other leaders moved toward independence. Diversity makes the world survive. By combining ideas, we can find solutions to save our planet. For me, diversity is everything I just wrote about. All these components make up diversity.
