Boeing- The Future of FlightBoeing's mission is to be the world's leading aerospace company and among the leading industrial companies in terms of quality, profitability and growth (Boeing , 1999). Their four key objectives will guide the business: Continuous improvement in product and process quality – The cornerstone of their business strategy is a strong commitment to constant, long-term improvement of their products and processes. They must strive to continually improve the overall quality of their design, manufacturing, administrative, and support organizations to achieve this goal (Boeingsuppliers.com, 2009). A highly skilled and motivated workforce - Human resources are their most important resource: their customers. as well as the people who design and manufacture their products and services. With the right combination of skills, training, communications, environment and leadership, they will be able to achieve their goals because they believe their employees will make the necessary gains in productivity and quality (Hrmreport.com, 2010). Financial Strength – They require a strong financial foundation due to the cyclical and high-risk nature of their businesses. Retain the capital resources necessary to meet their existing obligations and make significant investments to develop new products and technologies for the future. This goal also required planning and monitoring to ensure that they were not overburdened during difficult economic times (Sotelo, 2010). Commitment to Integrity - Integrity, in the broadest sense, must permeate their actions in all relationships, with their customers, including those, suppliers and with each other. It is a promise of uncompromising principles and conduct (Hickman, 1998). SWOT Analysis......middle of article......0, from http://books.google.com/books?isbn=0761914234Hrmreport.com. (2010).
