  • Essay / The Russian-Ukrainian Conflict - 978

Conflict occurs when there is disagreement between individuals, groups, communities and countries. There is a risk to their needs, interests or concerns as a result of a disagreement. It is a condition in which people receive a threat, whether physical, emotional, political, status, etc. Based on their values, culture, beliefs, experience and gender, they filter their perceptions. It is possible to recognize new opportunities by transforming conflict into a creative learning experience. It is very important to have an idea to resolve the conflict between the parties. The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has caused a lot of damage. It is growing day by day. The main reason for the conflict is the Ukrainian political landscape and the rejection of a single economic agreement with the European Union regarding an association agreement signed by the Ukrainian president. In the 18th century, Crimea was part of the Russian Empire, as was most of Ukrainian territory. The Russians are fighting for Crimea, which is part of Ukraine. According to 2001, out of 2 million inhabitants, there were 54 percent Russians, 24 percent Ukrainians and 12 percent Tatars. This conflict began in late November 2013 and intensified in 2014, leading to the deaths of many people. Today, the conflict continues between these countries. I did not see the mistake of the Ukrainian government. The decision taken by Russia is undesirable. Russia is simply trying to seize Ukraine's land and increase its economic growth. Most countries (including the United States) provide full support to Ukraine and threaten to impose economic sanctions on Russia. That's the interesting part for me. I chose this conflict because I want to share this information...... middle of paper ......integrity and territorial integrity in giving Crimea to Russia. I also believe that if the conflict goes like this and the cold war continues between Ukraine and Russia, there will be another war which will be a third world war. Curran, John.
