Essay / Uses of CADD - 667
CADD has many uses in today's modern world. CADD's uses extend to almost every profession in the world, ranging from animation design to architecture. CADD is mainly used to make fine adjustments to a drawing or to give different views of a building. CADD is mainly used for retouching or modifying designs. CADD is computer software used in several ways. Sometimes CADD is used to change the appearance of something or to give a better view of how something looks. It is also extremely useful in the process of designing an object, building, etc. (“Computer-Aided Design”). The CADD is essential for certain professions of choice. Most professions have the opportunity to use CADD in the process of manufacturing goods. Whether it's designing an item or getting a better three-dimensional view of a product. Architecture is an example of a profession that uses CADD. Architects use CADD in a way that helps them design buildings or something they are working on (Nielsen). This helps make the building as perfect as it could be. They first make a two-dimensional design of the building, then they might eventually create a three-dimensional view of the building to get a better view of the building (Nielsen). Once the design of the building is complete, it undergoes an overhaul and is finally constructed and becomes a fully functional house in which to live. A profession similar to architecture is interior design. Interior design is the arrangement of the interior of a building. They design the appearance of the interior of the building after making some aesthetic changes (Nielsen). They use CADD to show what a painting would look like on a building or what furniture would look like when placed (Nielsen). Once the house is completed, interior designers decorate the middle of the paper......ing the goods. Overall, CADD is a useful thing to help society as a whole, whether for entertainment or a necessity. Works cited “Computer-aided architectural and technical design”. Austin Community College.
