How are we affected by global warming and how can we stop it? Global warming directly affects everyone and everything on Earth. The concentration of greenhouse gases is increasing at an alarming rate. Many negative problems will arise if nothing is done to stop the destruction of the Earth's atmosphere. Humans, plants and animals contribute to the cycle of life on earth. The extinction of plants and animals caused by global warming can cause global panic. Future flooding of the Earth is entirely possible if warming continues at this rate. Global warming can be catastrophic if nothing is done. Global warming brings a multitude of negative consequences and we must put a stop to it. Global warming is a serious problem that affects the entire world. Global warming not only affects our climate in terms of temperature, but also precipitation, including rain and snow. Global warming has negative effects on animals, certain species no longer populate certain areas because of climate change and migrate to survive. Scientists say sea levels have risen because of melting glaciers. (Cunningham & Cunningham, 2009, p. 207) Global warming has occurred in the distant past due to natural influences. Today, the predicted warming is the result of an increase in greenhouse gas emissions. Greenhouse gases include water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone. (Scientists, 2010) Carbon dioxide is a very important factor in the cycle that sustains life on Earth. Plants use carbon dioxide in photosynthesis and release the oxygen needed to sustain life for humans and animals, which exhale carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. complete the cycle (Cunningham & Cunningham, 2009).T...... middle of paper ......l-recycling-facts.com/international-climate-change-policy.htmlIsham, JW (2007).
