I went to a school-age child care center to have an interview with the supervisor of the school-aged child care center school age in order to get the answer to the question from my previous assignment (level K-3), now I provide all its answers related to my following questions in my writings. The questions are: 1. What is your philosophy for running your school daycare?Answer: Our policy/philosophy is an inclusive framework for running this school daycare.2. How do you and your other educators deal with parents?Answer: Our policy is an open door policy. When parents come to pick up their child, we open our door to come in and chat with them to make it easier for them.3. What types of interest areas do you offer for school-aged children?Answer: We offer many interest areas for school-aged children, such as tactile, imaginative, creative, physical and academic,4 . How do you supervise and evaluate your staff?Answer: I supervise and evaluate my staff formally and informally. For examples of evaluating their progress on assigned projects, tasks, or functions, Written Performance Evaluations Act.5. How do you provide a program that allows children to meet their physical needs?Answer: Using scaffolding. We offer easy activities first and when the children are able to do it, we then offer difficult activities to meet their physical needs.6. What is your and your staff's qualification to become an educator?Answer: Same as bachelor's qualification.7. Tell me about your outdoor program for children.Answer: Our outdoor program is for children and for educational purposes.8. Children's places must be secure. Because it is a big responsibility for anyone who takes care of it. Anything can happen at any time. So my suggestion is that this center should install a locker from inside and they should install a bell system in front of the main door. Summarize my overall impression of the setting: In this center, all settings for school-age children are appropriate for all their developmental skills. I think they are trying to live up to their philosophy of fostering and contributing to the partnership for child development with parents. as well as their mission statement: “Our mandate is to meet the needs of our school families by offering pleasant, interesting and engaging activities, adapted to their age, of quality, for the students entrusted to our care, every day of the year. regular school and non-school days of the week..”
