    An obvious benefit of this management style is hearing several different opinions on solutions to a problem, which can lead to better overall decision-making. Employee buy-in is significantly increased by involving staff in this process, especially when the suggestions they present are incorporated into the solution. This approach teaches employees to communicate with each other and actively listen to each other's ideas. Additionally, this style encourages employees to solve problems creatively instead of focusing solely on day-to-day tasks. New leaders will develop within this group setting and, once identified, may be given additional responsibilities and considered for future promotion. Employee engagement and satisfaction will increase as team members are empowered to solve problems. Using this leadership strategy has helped develop many informal leaders in my departments and I believe the vast majority of my staff have the ability to effectively problem solve.
