Essay / Life of Pi - 938
In this interesting book, Life of Pi, in the beginning it was about what every young child goes through when they are or have something different from the other children at school ; intimidation. The main character of this story is Piscine Molitor Patel aka Pi. While young Pi was going to school, he was bullied by all the students and even the teachers. The teachers called Pi a piss because they couldn't pronounce Piscine. In fact, the students started peeing and then the teachers would call it that without realizing what they were actually doing. Until the day Piscine got tired of the name “Pissing”. In class, whenever a teacher called his name, he would go to the board and write that his name was Piscine Molitor Patel. He also told everyone that they could call him Pi; In doing so, he drew a circle and cut it into two diameters. Every time he was called, he would do this move and everyone would chant Pi Pi Pi. This action made him extremely happy to no longer be called Pissing, which is a thing of the past now. As the years passed, Pi grew not like in his thirties, like a few years, maybe three or four. Pi's father owns a zoo and Pi was really interested in this zoo of every animal. As I read, I realized that Pi was really interested in zoology, but religion inspired him even more. In fact, Pi was so interested in religion that he became three religions at once. Hindu, Muslim and Christian. He prayed 5 times a day as a Muslim, went to church and read the Bible as a Christian, and at the same time prayed to many other gods as a Hindu. As Pi and his brother (Ravi) grew up, his father talked about it. the importance of a zoo and especially fear... middle of paper ... a movie is being filmed, there are minor details left out for some reason, but think about it if the movies look something like the books you would film all day. This book interested me because it shows that one life can help or be a motivation for the life of another; Pi wanted to stay alive thanks to Richard Parker. As long as Pi saw that Richard Parker was okay or that he was okay, it would give him the strength to get through another day. The simple fact that Pi spent 7 months in the middle of the Pacific with a tiger and actually lived to tell the tale was incredible. Honestly, I would have died. Either I drowned, or I got eaten by the tiger, or by the sharks. Honestly, I don't know how he did it, other than the fact that he saw Richard Parker's life as a reason to stay alive. I think it should read the book and also watch the movie very interesting both.
