Coming from a Jewish background, there is no doubt that finding work and fitting in were issues in his life that he had to overcome, but he did not let these factors stop him from succeeding. Freud today constitutes a model for all those who wish to bring new ideas which may not be suitable for today's society but which must be addressed. In his time, his ideas and theories about the mind were critically rejected, but Freud didn't just give up.
