    A tall man dressed in a long black coat is seen walking past the window of an elementary school with a large briefcase. This sentence is enough to give almost any American goosebumps for a moment. Change the word man to woman, and all those uncomfortable feelings become normal and nothing out of the ordinary. How is this possible? Everyone has felt that unpleasant feeling of fear creeping into their body at least once in their life. Maybe it was watching a horror movie or taking a walk at night in an unfamiliar part of town, but the feeling is unlike any other feeling humans can produce. It can become the most important survival instinct a person can rely on. Although, today, as Dr. Karl Albrecht says, "fear seems to have had a bad reputation among most human beings." Fear is certainly not the most common feeling and emotion among humans. Today, people view fear as a nuisance, and it tends to be seen as a quality of the weak and powerless. By learning that fear is essential, people would discover that fear can quickly become any human being's most valuable resource. An analysis of fear, and recognition of its importance, confirms why fear is still necessary for humans to survive today. To the untrained eye, fear can seem uncontrollable and is usually explained by seeing, hearing, or feeling something "scary" or "scary." ". In reality, it is a very complex biological process that sets off a chain reaction throughout the body. The brain triggers a cascade of multiple events that allow the release of chemicals to trigger the fight or flight response (Layton).
