Essay / The influence of the classical era - 1445
In 1790, Mozart received money for his published works. Mozart was asked to compose a comic opera, write a requiem mass, and write an opera to celebrate the coronation, where Mozart agreed to all three requests. The comic opera was a great success, but the coronation opera was not a great success for Mozart. For the requiem, it was unfinished because he died while writing it. Mozart suffered a tragic death, becoming increasingly ill with visions of his own death. Mozart was obsessed with the requiem. Mozart fell ill in Prague in September, but he was in good spirits and optimistic about the future. In November 1791, Mozart became even more ill and was confined to bed. Mozart lived to be 35 years old. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart died on December 5, 1791 at 1:00 a.m. in Vienna. The certified cause was “severe miliary fever,” followed later by “inflammatory rheumatic fever.” He had a simple funeral and was buried in a multiple grave, which was normal in Vienna at the time. After his death, Constance completed and published her music. Mozart had many different accomplishments throughout his life. He became a Freemason in December 1784, because accepted by Joseph Haydn and Joseph II, Mozart also obtained the honor of his father.
