  • Essay / Cultural identity and cultural diversity - 1616

No matter where you are and whatever conditions you find yourself in. This implies that I should never be embarrassed to seek help from a family member and should follow their recommendations at all times. time. In that sense, I usually think of my family every time I do things. I usually assume that my main goal is to make my parents, grandparents, relatives, uncle and cousins happy. This character comes into conflict with the current culture around me (American culture) where an atomic family style is observed. Another unique thing about my culture is that the types of foods are not the same from one culture to another. In my culture; The hot dog is an undesirable food because it contains creature intestines. No restaurant therefore offers this type of food. Restaurants that do not offer it and people do not prepare hot dogs at home under the pretext that it is a foul food in their society. Another core value is that welcome in my culture is not quite the same as in other cultures; like in my culture, the guys all shake hands and greet each other with a kiss on each cheek. In any case, it is not allowed to shake hands or kiss strange ladies. Ladies can hug and kiss their close companions. Overall, my culture is an example of a nation where cultural values are essential. These values, for example family values, types of foods and hospitality, are not the same as different values.
