There is an appropriate time for everything, sometimes you have to create it or you have to wait for it. I am an apostle of this saying and it was my appetite for improvement that led me to the decision to pursue a master's degree, after completing my undergraduate studies. My desire to pursue a master's degree was ignited during the first year of my university when I discovered the word industrial engineering and every day since then, my unwavering desire for this field has grown exponentially. After completing my secondary education from an illustrious college, my academic achievements in school earned me admission to Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai. Ranked 3rd in the South Indian region by Outlook and The Week, and is affiliated with the prestigious Anna University. I am continuing my studies in Production Engineering. I have a comprehensive curriculum that spells out the latest manufacturing techniques and production management through my first year. In my senior year, I have electives like Operations Research and Ergonomics. This opened the doors to the field of industrial engineering for me and at that time I realized that manufacturing alone is not the core of an industry, but there are many others segments that should be given equal importance for the improvement of the industry, which made me decide to increase my knowledge in these areas rather than focusing only on manufacturing. I often wonder about the uniqueness of engineering and management, but also their mutual importance. Every time I thought about this topic, a question came up that left me perplexed. Is there a single course that merges these two fields? When I meticulously researched such a course, I got to know the major, Industrial Engineering...... middle of paper ...... myself to be an innovative contributor and innovative in this field after a few years to complete my master's degree followed by a doctorate. After an arduous quest for universities to fulfill my dream, I ended up with only a handful of universities, of which yours Texas A&M University was a mixture of excellent ranking, ad hoc of expert professors, multi-faceted students from different crops. which will increase my intellect. It would be a boon to contribute and work with Professor Wilbert E. Wilhelm, Professor Sila Çetinkaya, Professor Guy L.
