People suffering from an anxiety disorder have difficulty coping with certain life situations; anxiety disorders disrupt their lives. Some of them seek psychological therapies. Psychological therapies are interactions with professionals who help people deal with problems with their thoughts or behaviors. These therapies are based on previous research, theses and theories. Is there strong evidence for the use of psychological therapy to treat anxiety disorders? We need to understand more deeply about anxiety disorders and the therapies offered to answer this question. First, this essay will review some of the many types of anxiety disorders and their descriptions. Secondly, this will go through types of psychological therapies. Finally, it will present the effectiveness of certain therapies for each type of anxiety disorders through previous cases and studies. Different Types of Anxiety Disorders Phobias Phobia is a disproportionate and intense fear of a specific object or situation. There are many types of phobias.
