This article presents how labeling theory and strain theory can explain the crimes that the White family of West Virginia commits on a daily basis. The wonderful white man from West Virginia represents corruption and poverty. They do not conform to any authority or rule; all they want to do is hustle and fight and party. The White family participates in shootings, robberies; gas, drug trafficking, pills and murder. They are known for their Hill Billy tap dancing and wild criminal ways. As West Virginia is the poorest state in the United States, it does not have the resources to have a good education system or available jobs. Consequently, frustration sets in, leading to the failure of aspirations, pushing white people to resort to violent and illegal means to survive in a declining economy, in order to gain a small chance of realizing their vision of the American dream . However, being labeled Southern rebels makes this small chance of the American dream much more difficult to obtain. legitimate channels, success or hitting the source of their frustration in anger. When the theories are carefully examined, tensions can not only arise from people's frustration with achieving "the American dream", but they become a mixture of tensions such as economic deprivation, abuse, neglect or the loss of a loved one. However, most people who experience stress do not commit crimes. West Virginia is the poorest state in the United States. Being the poorest state in the United States, the education system is not what one might expect. With no education or available employment, whites had to become a corrupt family to survive in West Virginia's declining economy. Corruption within the White family began when father Ray White was murdered. This led them to drop out of school and retaliate by breaking the law in every way possible. This led to a lack of education and motivation to succeed.
