    Organizational communication is a sustainable system of people working together to achieve a common goal, through levels of stratification based on rank and duty ( Everet M. Rogers). Communication is the means by which organizations coordinate the management of material resources and human resources through a formal structural model of duties and authority (Robert Bonnington). Communication organizations send and receive various messages in the formal cluster organization or informally of an organization (Wiryanto, 2005). ). In terms of organization, communication has provided four distinct directions: downward, upward, horizontal and diagonal. But I was researching top-down communication and bottom-up communication. Downward communications are much more prevalent in the organization than upward communication. The definition of downward communication occurs when information and messages flow through the formal chain of command or hierarchical structure of an organization. In other words, messages and orders begin at the upper levels of the organizational hierarchy and flow down to lower levels. Responses to downward communications progress along the same path. The objective is to help reduce the occurrence of communication rumors (rumors) in order to promote a pleasant working atmosphere, and to indirectly increase the productivity and profitability of the company.
