IntroductionA personal strategic plan is one of the most effective tools for students and professionals who want to achieve excellence in their respective fields. It uses the concept of reflection to help track the steps taken to acquire skills and knowledge. It allows you to follow the necessary changes in your life and the weak points to improve. The plan provides a gauge for a person to see their progress and determine what skills to learn in the future. It contributes to achieving personal and professional development objectives. Indeed, success requires planning and goal setting. The objectives set in the plan should be clear and measurable.Review of the initial PSPAccording to my initial PSP, acquiring communication and social skills was the main objective of the semester. I planned to communicate more with my instructors about my areas of weakness. Using instructors' office hours and taking extra time to connect with them allowed for a deeper understanding of the concepts taught in class. This was the main change I had to make. During this semester, I was able to increase the time spent with instructors learning outside of normal classroom communication and made sure to review everything I had learned in class. If there was a point or idea that needed clarification, I left it up to the teacher to understand the concept before the next class.Social skillsSocial development was also an important part of my PSP; I discovered that I lacked soft skills compared to others. The importance of these skills in the workplace is significant, and I needed to develop them in the middle of a paper......the art of my culture and learning habits. I will improve my time management skills to ensure I read at least two motivational books every month. In order to improve my job prospects and recognize areas of weakness that I need to work on, I will ask a teacher to become my mentor. I will then make sure to meet with the teacher at least once a semester. During these meetings with the teacher, I will ask for feedback on my career prospects in the field and the type of skills I need to work on. I will also ensure that the teacher has the opportunity to critique my efforts and improvements, and suggest areas for improvement. Conclusion The personal strategic plan is very important to enable monitoring of the developmental changes necessary to achieve the set objectives.
