    Teen Courage on the Internet Most American teenagers act differently when they are online as opposed to in real life. Today's children are being raised with so much new technology that they feel more comfortable with it than humans. However, if people, especially teenagers, had acted the same way in real life and online, many of today's problems would not have arisen. (McCann). Today's teenagers have much more courage on the Internet than in real life. Teenagers who really like using social media to communicate usually don't like communicating in person very much. Some teens may even spend time on their favorite social media sites with their friends, instead of actually spending time with their friends. Most modern teens text far more than call or talk in person. Then again, other people may use social media to distract themselves from current problems or stress and anxiety.
