Essay / Are the Illuminati a myth? or does it really exist?
Although it is claimed that the Illuminati is just a myth, there are a number of signs that indicate the existence of this organized body that aims to control world affairs through means such as music, media, economics, politics and education. The Illuminati was formed in 1776 by Adam Weishaupt (Carr X). It is a secret society composed of a group of powerful people whose sole objective is to "create a single world government to allow men with proven mental abilities to rule the world" (Carr X). The result: banks are billions richer” (Illuminati Bankers Seek N pag). This theory denies the idea that the Illuminati does not exist and instead calls people to really think, in order to free themselves from the strict control of the Illuminati. Even the great depression of 1929 which affected countries like the United States, Germany and the USSR is considered the work of the Illuminati since it was the powerful families who controlled the Wall Street stock market; Moreover, according to Kevin Demeritt, since the two depressions had many consequences
