Love is something that can happen regardless of the circumstances of the situation. Love is a very powerful force that can bring two strangers together and create happiness and joy; However, in certain circumstances, love can be very dangerous. Whether you're a poor boy chasing a princess or your families are hated enemies of each other, it's possible for love to take root and blossom. It could also be the simple attraction to what we cannot have. Whatever the reason, this love has given rise to some wonderful and inspiring stories. It is the dream that love, although forbidden or seemingly impossible, is achievable at the cost of great sacrifice. Is authentic romantic love respectful? Patient? Kind? Devoted? Are there any sacrifices? It makes more sense to start with a clarification of terminology: what do we mean by "romantic love"?
