  • Essay / Weather Forecast Essay - 819

Staying away, the weather is impossible. Weather forecasting is a branch of skill that almost everyone uses on a daily basis. Whether we forecast at dawn, in the afternoon or at night, knowing the atmospheric conditions allows us to prepare for the weather character we will encounter. Climate forecasting has been carried out since the dawn of time with varying degrees of precision. Historical beliefs show many examples of weather forecasting methods based on observation of surrounding elements. Although meteorologists' observations are not always accurate; better to have little knowledge of what can happen than nothing. However, the forecast transition is constantly evolving between biblical beliefs, philosophical opinions, observations, and evolving technology that help meteorologists stay a few more days ahead. Forecasting weather conditions was based entirely on perception of the sky. The sky is undoubtedly the first clue used in weather forecasting. The sky is overcast and the nature of the clouds gives clues about the temperature and conditions to come. The science of weather forecasting began with early civilizations, using recurring astronomical and meteorological events to help them monitor seasonal changes in conditions. These hypotheses sparked curiosity about the short-term weather prophecies of ancient philosophers. In 650 BC, the Babylonians attempted to predict short-term weather changes based on the visual appearance of clouds and optical phenomena such as donuts. Similarly, in 300 BC, Chinese astronomers developed a calendar that divided the year into 24 festivals, with each festival associated with a different type of weather. But yet, with these anticipations, the causes remain...... middle of paper ......calculations of atmospheric temperature and humidity profiles and other environmental variables. The technical use of radar, climate maps, satellites, thermometers and more gives meteorologists a strange type of instrument to use for all types of conditions. These scientific advances have made weather forecasting quick and accurate. As meteorologists learn to determine more of the weather, we know our land and water better. This knowledge of weather has improved and saved several lives, while the issue of death and injury rate would soar through the roof. Who doesn't like meteorologists? Although we don't offer our thanks regularly, we appreciate any help we can get. Meteorologists are not 100% right, only the part of the time when they are right benefits enormously.
