What the United States has tried to create is a country without a sick man, woman or child left uncared for or unable to provide for their medical needs. This is what the United States attempted to do when it drafted and implemented Obamacare, also known as the Affordable Care Act. However, Obamacare has become a liability and is poised to destroy our current healthcare system. Obamacare should be abolished because of the rising cost of health insurance and the misconception that Obamacare is helping our system. The Affordable Care Act should be banned due to the rising cost of health insurance. As indicated in the title of this “law”, it is described as “affordable”. However, "large health insurance companies are planning huge premium increases next year for small employers and people who purchase coverage on their own, citing rising health care costs and new mandates of President Barack Obama's health care reform law” (Young). There are many reasons why the cost of many people's premiums is increasing, one of the biggest being that large companies are abandoning company-wide health coverage. Obamacare is said to increase the average health care premium by 32% because the largest health care companies will be forced to insure even more sick people (Kelly). the biggest companies are taking people off their health care plans and forcing them to buy their own and pay much more than they would have received through their employer. Pro-Obamacare advocates would say that Obamacare was created to reform the health care system and create health insurance. affordable and it works. However, by the end of 2013, average premiums for Obamacare plans were 41 percent higher than what people had paid the previous year (Mc...... middle of paper ... stuff flooded, pushing them to support the law until it is far too late This outrageous law must undergo extreme reversal in order to restore peace on the price of health care premiums and relieve everyone of the heavy burden of this deceptive law from the President.
