  • Essay / My Favorite Marvel Heroes

“The definition of a hero is someone who cares about the well-being of others and will do everything possible to help them, even if there is no chance to do it. reward. That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done and because it is the right thing to do is undoubtedly a true superhero. –Stan Lee. Normally, that's where most people put something really inspiring or sad or something. Well, that won't happen this time. Because I couldn't decide exactly which person I wanted to write about, I'm going to write about my favorite Marvel heroes and why they are my favorite. It gives me an opportunity to write about something I really love and it gives the reader the opportunity to hopefully read something a little different. My three favorite Marvel heroes are Tony Stark, Peter Parker and Natasha Romanova. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on “Why Violent Video Games Should Not Be Banned”? Get the original essay First of all, there isn't just one specific reason why Tony Stark is one of my favorite heroes. Like the other heroes, he had no powers. He only had his suit. The lawsuit he filed because he wanted to be able to fix the mistakes he made and some he didn't make. If you think about it, his intelligence could be considered his power. This, along with the suit, gives him advantages over some of the other physically stronger heroes. One of the main reasons he is one of my favorite heroes is because he loves what he does. This is proven by how he plays music very loudly and jokes about everything while he fights. Another thing that proves he loves what he does is how long and how often he improves combinations. The power of the suit depends on its limits. I'm not saying he likes to fight just to fight. He loves to protect the people he loves. Then, Peter Parker is one of my favorite heroes. One reason is its history. I understand that many hero stories are tragic; Peter Parkers is just unique to me. After the death of his parents and his uncle and aunt, he goes on an excursion where he is bitten by a radioactive spider. This is where he gets his powers from. Later, his uncle is killed in front of him and he uses his powers to find the killer and protect New York by becoming a vigilante. Another reason is his age. He's about the age of me and a lot of the people I go to school with and I just feel like he's someone we can look up to and relate to. Obviously, not the powers, but rather the type of high school. I can only imagine how some of my friends would handle the stress of high school and having such powers. Just like Tony Stark, he loves what he does and fighting to protect the people he loves. Finally, Natasha Romanova is definitely one of my favorite heroes. I'll admit that a big part of the reason is because she's a girl. There are all these tough guys who are heroes and there are very few women. It would be nice if girls had someone like that to look up to and be represented like that. In some ways you can really relate to her, but in others I just have no idea how she was able to do what she did. For example, I've never killed anyone, but the feeling of guilt for something I did and now I have to do something about it is understandable. Because she's killed so many people, I feel like she feels like she has to pay back whenever she can. I admire that but at the same time I don't really like that about her. I.
