The technology transfer process is not limited to buying and selling. It consists of multifaceted steps. Technology transfer process is a process of researching technological developments in the world, choosing suitable technology for a business, planning transfer methods, and monitoring the technology and its improvement. (Austin 1990). The technology transfer operation has three main stages which are pre-installation, installation and post-commissioning. (Small and Yasin, 2003). The pre-installation stage recognizes technology requirements, identifies appropriate technology for a particular business through field analysis, plans the use of that chosen technology, and evaluates how technology providers can meet it. In order not to achieve bad results in the technology transfer process, companies should pay attention to the first step before installation. (Udo and Ehie, 1996) (Primrose, 1991). The second installation stage covers the adaptation of the new technology to the business, which includes integrating the new technology, adapting to the business's own needs, making necessary adjustments and other modifications. the third stage called post-commissioning stage deals with the impacts and effects of the new technology which involves evaluating the existing conditions and measuring the performance of the businesses.
