Marriage is a tradition that has been passed down through the history of humanity for over five thousand years now. Traditional marriage involves a man and woman who love and support each other, although in today's society this may not be the case. Generally, in traditional marriage, the woman and man will be loyal to each other because they have a relationship built on trust and bond. Adultery and premarital sex did not exist in those days. However, what we see on the news every day is a completely different story. The question is what drives women to commit adultery and what have they gained from it. In Chopin's "The Storm", the marriage between Bobinot and Calixta was both successful and unsuccessful. Bobinot was extremely loyal to Calixta because he only did everything for the family. He went shopping for Calixta and her son. Meanwhile, Calixta waited at home and worried at the same time for Bibi and Bobinot, her son and her husband, even when Alcée arrived. In Chopin's "The Tempest", the very appearance of a storm prepares the ground for the sexual encounter between Alcée. and Calixta.
