Strategic Infrastructure Analysis and Solution Exercise (ISASE)IntroductionSmith's Media Services plc has a network that needs modernization. This report will discuss the problems with their current network, the solutions to their problems, and anything they could do to improve and modernize their network.Issues1. Many underutilized servers take up more space and consume more resources than the amount of work they actually do can justify. This is called computer server sprawl. This results in a continued need for additional resources to manage infrastructure, including funds, labor, and equipment for repairs.2. Some parts of the network are not managed and risks are therefore anticipated.3. The company believes that the existing network system is not scalable due to the expected demand over the next 5-10 years, based on its new business plan. This means that they do not believe that the current network will be able to cope with expected future usage as the business grows.4. Due to security requirements resulting from a financial contract, the internal network is separated into three physical networks: FINCON (for the financial services contract), GEN (general purpose, including for personal devices) and CORP (for enterprise devices only). 5. The organization does not currently manage personal devices in any way. This could allow viruses or other adware to access the organization's network, if they are on the device when it connects to the network.6.
