  • Essay / The impatient generation - 735

With the beginning of man, we can assume that there was time; a form of assessment in which the sun dictated how long one could stay outside, safe and able to hunt or gather food for the night. Time is a man-made element that has orchestrated exactly what humanity does and when. He chooses what is eaten and how people behave throughout the day. Time is the essence of life, and without it; there is death. However, today we observe that the constraints that time has often imposed are slowly fading as an age of impatience and eternal domination takes hold. We see that the people who faced the First World War and the Second World War are dying, and in this coming death of a generation, a great difference still transcends current recognition; that these are the people who experienced the greatest changes in history and who had a limited lifespan. They are jealous of their great-grandchildren who are expected to live to be several hundred years old. But those who preceded our tired and wasting soldiers certainly felt the same jealousy, for they often did not live beyond fifty years. Once again, the ancestors become jealous of the younger generations as their time lengthens. Those of the Renaissance were the victors of such jealousy since they died at the age of thirty. The fact is, however, that the time given to this generation is to be envied, as it constitutes the greatest difference between all generations. Because there are prevented and prolonged exits from Earth, it can only be expected that the coming ancient inhabitants will bring drastic changes (as they already are) in the way time is perceived and youth is explored. Everything is now. Ordering and receiving a hamburger in a fast food restaurant takes only a minute, today it...... middle of paper ...... and the need to consume excessive quantities; can create greater stress in attempts to focus and motivate students. Because these students will be the next generation after the one born in impatience, the future lies with educators who must strive to attract the learner's attention and influence them into good work ethic and healthy time management. Again, this will be a difficult task due to the influence of the world on children, persuading and promoting a life centered on preserving time. Not only that, but because everything is present instantly, students' patience may be limited, decreasing the attention they will give to each topic. It is then expected that the teacher must overcome this failure; even if it will be difficult, it must be accomplished to improve the future and the world..
