The author, very optimistic, applies for the job; however, his optimism quickly turns to pessimism. He becomes pessimistic because the position requires a bachelor's degree. This experience quickly turned into a challenge. This led to a conversation with the author's manager, during which he supported him and tried to keep him optimistic.
