Being a nurse also involves us understanding what is most important for the patient, being with the patient and establishing caring, loving and connected relationships with the patient in order to expand ours and its awareness of the self. Thus, health as an expanding consciousness, in the concept of humanities nursing practice, is not about making judgments, goals or interventions, but about truly listening to what is important to the patient and being with him to find meaning in the transformation stage of his consciousness.
