Essay / Cohesive and Unified Cultural Identity - 1379
The learning journey is largely shaped by an individual's sense of identity. However, to understand how this identity shapes the learning journey, it is essential to examine the different structures and themes associated with the term “identity”, such as gender, culture and social. Because these themes are constantly changing, thus affecting personal identity within the learning journey. This essay will focus primarily on the theme of cultural identity while reflecting on how my own learning experiences have shaped and changed my sense of identity. A significant event creates a sense of coherent and unified identity, but there are fractures in this identity while remaining. close to Hall's concept that identity is always changing and complex.
