    Over the years, the cost of tuition has been one of the biggest issues preventing students, like me, from getting the best education possible. Usually, this leads to students settling on a nearby school rather than being able to choose to go to the best one they were accepted into, due to these exorbitant prices. Much of this problem or concern has to do with the fact that out-of-state tuition is much higher than in-state tuition, sometimes almost doubling the price of tuition in the state! As a result, there is greater pressure on students to stay in-state rather than attend out-of-state schools that could offer a better education. The dramatic differences between in-state and out-of-state tuition can discourage many students from attending school. of their choice, which may also be one of the top schools they were accepted to. Therefore, this unfair price discrimination, over time, will ultimately harm these individuals, forcing many of them to receive a lower quality education due to unaffordable prices, resulting in a worse career paid and less successful for the individual. It also hurts the economy because lower quality education creates a less educated workforce, which in turn makes the workforce less productive, which causes more economic problems for the general public . In-state tuition should be totally and completely stopped. This will ultimately help to level the playing field, improving fairness, which will lead to a better education system, allowing the student to have a broader and more affordable view of where they can attend.
