    The airline industry, being the fastest means of transportation, plays a vital role in the Nigerian economy in multiple dimensions. As noted by Jacobson (2004), air operations have several dimensions, namely: first, they enhance globalization and increase economic cooperation among nations. Then, it facilitates the international circulation of goods, services and factors of production. Third, it creates its impact by directly providing employment opportunities and indirectly by creating opportunities for the travel and hospitality sector of an economy. “Jobs in hotels, resorts, restaurants, and car rental agencies, to name just a small part of the economy, depend to varying degrees on the health of the airline industry” ( Jacobson 2004). Last but not least, the airline industry impacts other sectors such as manufacturing and tourism. The advent of technological advancement and globalization have revolutionized the workplace and the global economy, respectively. This has rapidly transformed the global economy, which continually shapes the modus operandi of globalized trade liberalization. Hence, there is a critical need to diagnose and examine the issues and challenges in deploying the use of computerized platforms as tools in the workplace to improve performance and productivity respectively. Therefore, investing in attracting, retaining, developing and motivating competent employees could stimulate organizational growth to achieve competitive advantage and facilitate business survival. However, the computerized reservation system has become an obstacle rather than furthering the goals and objectives of the organization.
