Humans are natural philosophers; it is human nature to ask questions about the unknown. If humans were indifferent to problems, to questions, then religion would not exist; because what does religion do but try to give people explanations for phenomena that science cannot explain? However, few fall into the category of “good philosophers”, because to be a good philosopher, one must be able to accept the truth, whatever the emotions it goes through. Pierre Elliott Trudeau, once known as Canada's "king of philosophers," was a philosopher capable of doing just that. He is used as an example of a person who revolutionized Canada and is studied for his philosophical ways of thinking. The many changes he brought to this country gave it the identity that Canada has today; it is his theory of a just society that keeps his name alive. However, to understand Pierre Trudeau's theory of a just society, we must first examine who Trudeau was, what his philosophy was, and what the positive and negative impacts of his ideas were on Canada. Although he is remembered as Prime Minister, Pierre Trudeau's legacy did not begin there. Although his sixteen years as prime minister are considered his greatest achievement, his reputation as a hard worker began after graduating from the University of Montreal, when he landed a job as a file officer at the Privy Council. he practiced law, specializing in labor and civil liberties cases – issues he later brought to the attention of Canadians – from 1951 to 1961. With his help, Canada became an independent and fair country where equality is the top priority. Even his preference for young women or his choice of friends – the most interesting being Fidel Castro – were not enough to disgrace Canada; Whether or not this is a good indicator of Canada's morality is for another philosopher to decide.
