    Many people have different views on the two, but they are very similar. Ethics is a study of what is good or bad and ethical action is action that brings the “Is” closer to its goals. Many people have different views on the two, but they are very similar, but they are also different in many ways. My view is that ethical theory distinguishes right from wrong and that ethical action is about knowing right from wrong and doing whatever you choose. The relationship between ethical theory and ethical action is that they both know what is right and wrong. Ethical theory taught the difference between good and evil at a very young age. We grew up knowing that if we did something wrong, we had to face the consequences. Going to the store and stealing, knowing it is wrong, just because your friends did it, would be an example of ethical theory. Moral people would not steal just because someone else is doing it, but the person with a mind of ethical theory will. Knowing right from wrong, we as people always force ourselves to do wrong for the sake of our own or someone else's happiness.....
