    Radiology and MRI TechnologistI am about to graduate from high school and it is time for me to figure out what I want to do after college. I am now thinking of becoming a radiology and MRI technologist. I became interested in this career when my sister told me she was considering becoming one. I had been thinking about it for a few days and, I remember when I was in the hospital for two weeks, I had an MRI, a CT scan and an ultrasound. I watched them do their work and it's very interesting. So I did some research on this profession. I didn't realize that being a technologist really wasn't much. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics/Occupational Outlook Handbook, you can have an associate's degree or an advanced degree. The most common degree is an associate's degree. You may start as a radiology technologist and then later decide to specialize in this field. In some states, you must be licensed or certified.
