    Known for its beauty, extravagant tourist attractions and quality cigars, the Caribbean island of Cuba, a totalitarian communist state, is a multiracial society with a population primarily of Spanish origin and African. The nation is officially known as the Republic of Cuba; it consists of the island of Cuba, the island of Youth and some small adjacent islands. Cuba is just ninety miles south of Key West, Florida; its climate is therefore subtropical or temperate. Average minimum temperature is 70°f, average maximum temperature is 81°f (fast). Trade winds and sea breezes make coastal areas more habitable than the temperature would allow. Cuba has a “dry season” between November and April and a “wet season” between May and October (Kapcia). Having such wonderful weather regularly makes Cuba an ideal hotspot for tourists. Beautiful beaches and lavish hotels also make the island a more desirable location. In Cuba there are more than enough things to do. There are more than 200 beaches in Cuba; simply a paradise for beach lovers. There are enough beaches in Cuba for everyone, and some are close to some of Cuba's best attractions. Cuba's beaches are the biggest attraction of Cuban tourism. Varadero Beach is considered one of the most famous beaches in the world. Cuba's beaches offer all types of leisure; Sailing, scuba diving in Cuba, sailing in Cuba, water bikes, kayaking and water skiing are some of the most popular. Cuba is populated with exotic wildlife due to its location. The Caribbean is in a tropical zone; so it is normal to see flamingos and other tropical animals in Cuba. Bee hummingbirds and the beautiful Cuban parakeet are other exotic animals in the country.
