Essay / The Boston Tea Party - 1265
The Boston Tea Party was one brief incident among many, an economic and political crisis that ultimately sparked a revolution. These events included the French and Indian War, the Stamp Act, the Townshend Revenue Act, the Tea Act, and of course the Boston Tea Party. The incident caused by the colonies infuriated the British government and so Parliament responded to the abuses with the Coercive Acts of 1774. When the thirteen colonies once again decided to resist British troops, the revolution spread. “We must all stand together, or surely we shall all stand apart.” This act later led to the American War of Independence, where independence was returned years later.
