What do you do when you want to study for your midterm but can't concentrate? What do you do when the answer to a question is at the tip of your pen but you just can't grasp it? Practitioners of the method that I am about to present to you believe that it is capable of increasing our level of concentration. This method is yoga. However, I'm not here to tell you about yoga itself, I'm here to tell you about the science behind yoga and the chakras. I have been practicing yoga for 3 years and have watched several videos of yogi explaining everything there is to know about the chakras. What are chakras? Chakras (also spelled Chakras) are designed as focal points or wheels of life. energy where psychic forces and bodily functions merge and interact with each other, located at different points of the human body. They function as portals between the mind and body. Some yogis say that the origin of the chakras is found in Hinduism, but according to David Gordon's book, Yoga in Practice, (2012), it was not until the eighth century that the Buddhist Hevajra Tantra and Caryāgiti, that chakra orders were introduced. Chakras are not only treated in the field of yoga. They are treated in the fields of aromatherapy, acupuncture and energy healing using the gemstone and rock method. Chakras in the Human Body Of the supposed 88,000 chakras in the human body, six main ones are located roughly along the spinal cord and another located just above the crown of the skull and these are the most important. In this study, Spencer had 2 groups of people practice yoga. One group has no knowledge in yoga and others have a strong foundation and other groups are masters in yogi. Both groups practiced the same type of yoga, and then Spencer asked both groups the same questions (49). The study showed that the masters had a high level of tranquility, purity and personal integration that the other inexperienced group did not have and therefore they were able to concentrate and perform well.Conclusion: Overall, I would just like to say that yoga is not just about becoming extremely flexible. It is a routine, a way of life and as I explained today, it is a treatment of the body and soul through the chakra channel..
