Students are thrust into a new world of academia and encounter seemingly insurmountable problems. The stresses of daily life coupled with the unique dilemmas associated with higher education unfortunately turn into overwhelming difficulties. Students who attend college are often financially unstable and often prone to depression. These stressful issues affect many students – seemingly the majority. However, their complications are not forgotten; Useful options are abundant. Specifically, receiving an education at a university is often difficult, primarily due to rising tuition fees, living expenses, and miscellaneous fees and charges. The various textbooks, expenses associated with vehicle ownership, required school supplies, housing costs, and the ever-increasing costs of groceries and medical services add up quickly. The average student attending a four-year public university pays approximately $26,0701 for tuition, room, board and other miscellaneous expenses. (O'Donnell & Associates)Largely, financial problems are a direct result of the various technological resources required as well as adequate transportation. Students are currently under great pressure caused by the compulsory means necessary to maintain a college education. Classrooms are rapidly increasing the frequency with which they use technologies such as the Internet, webcams, and many other tools. An undergraduate student with a low socioeconomic status is naturally subject to limited funds. However, the economic problems are not unmanageable. Financial aid, grants, student loans, and scholarships have become extremely helpful to students. The availability of these fiscal tools has expanded enough that middle papers enter the presumably exciting world of senior academics and find themselves abruptly ambushed by unexpected complications. However, these serious and sometimes educationally crippling problems can be overcome with determination and support.
