POSITION SUMMARY: Working within the Bylaw Services Division, the incumbent assists bylaw enforcement officers in a limited scope during the summer season. Responsibilities include: responding to fire and water/spray complaints, collecting unpaid business licenses, conducting inspections for businesses operating without a business license, and collecting unpaid business licenses for dogs. The work differs from that of a bylaw officer by the more routine nature of the complaints and infractions assigned to them. The incumbent must work outdoors in all weather conditions and must wear City-issued uniforms and outerwear. The position is required to work outside of traditional working hours. Performs related tasks.
